Zombie..... OH YA!! There Out there somewhere!!

Last night we went and saw Fireproof for a second time..... The first time we went and watched it they showed some perverted R-rated previews to some other movies before fireproof and fireproof is only rated PG, so my mom went and talked to the manager about it... He said he hadn't seen it and that there not supposed to play R-rated previews when your watching PG movies... So he said he was sorry and gave all of us free movie tickets... So lastnite we went and watched it again.. The movie is realy good. It one of the best movies I've seen... The First time I watched it I almost cried, but every time I was about to cry Jock would start laughing at all the other people in the theater crying. So he kinda ruined the mood for me and made me just want to laugh too... Anyhow its a must watch... I've got a hockey game tonight at 10:15.. I'm not vary excited about going that late but I payed $600 to play so I better go to it... So ya I'm just killing time before I hafto go.... I guess I need to come up with something exciting to post before I bore you all to death.. Oh hey I know what I'll post.. A couple of weeks ago Me, Tobi, Aaron, Molly, and Jock slept outside under the stars... The temperature was in the twenties, so ya it was cold... All of us but one made it threw the night, I won't mention the name of the person who wimped out.. You'll just hafto guess... Anyhow we took some pics... And for some reason Jock kept acting like a Zombie whenever we took a pic... He looks pretty scary in the picture so I thought I would share the picture with you...

Hockey

I just got home from playing Hockey... I never can sleep right after playing hockey so a decided i would do a post before i went to bed... So ya I had a hockey game at 10:30 tonight.. Smith tagged along with me.. He said he wanted to see me play, but i thank he was hoping to see me get beat up... My teams not the greatest this year... The team rep is just plain dumb and everybody else just tries to stay on the ice as long as they can... Nobody evens talks on the bench.. So ya its kinda depressing.. Anyhow I'm still having alittle fun, I got a score in my first game... So far my team has played four games and we are 2-1-1. I've only got to play in two of the four games, because the other two were on Sunday nights... Tonight we got whipped up on pretty bad.. The score was 11-5 so ya no one really played defence on are team tonight.. I think i was like the only forward you tried to back check... But i still had fun... I think i have another game Sunday night at a time that i can make it..... The nanooks start there regular season in the CCHA this week against bowling green, so that should be fun to watch.. The nanooks have already played a couple exhibition games and a couple tournaments.. They won a tournament down in Anchorage and then Anchorage came up here and won one up here.. So far the nooks are 4-1-1.. So that's kinda cool... Hopefully they have a good year, but i'm not going to count on it... Okay its 12:30 and I've got work tomorrow.. So night youall...

Just a picture

When I saw the picture that I posted below from (American Heroes) it reminded me if another picture that I saw in one of my WWII books.. Its of a Polish boy sitting amid the rubble created by the the bombs of the Luftwaffe (German Air force).. The picture was taken in the town of Warsaw in September of 1939, at the start of WWII... On the first of September 1939 the Germans with the help of Soviets invaded Poland.. So Britain and France declared war on Germany.. But the British weren't ready for war thanks to PM Neville Chamberlain who just always tried to appease the Germans instead of stand up to them... And France being the girly nation it is just stood on its boarder and watch as the Germans crushed Poland... Warsaw was the last main city in Poland to fall... The Poles stubbornly resisted so the Germans bombed everything they could... On September 27 Warsaw finally fell to the Germans only after it ran out of medical supplies, food and water.. Wow!! Sorry for the history lesson.. Anyways back to the picture... It always makes me cry when i look at it.. And I always wonder if the person who took the picture went and sat down by the boy and gave him a hug... That's what i always want to do when I see it... And i always think about how blessed we as Americans are, because we never had to go threw something like that here... I don't really know why I'm posting this... Maybe its just because it is a picture that is always stuck in my mind.. Or to let you see what goes on in the world of Jordania..

Lets Not Forget

Our God and soldier we alike adore

Ev'n at the brink of danger,

not before;

After deliverance, both alike requtied,

Our God's forgotten,

and our soldiers slighted.

I've been reading this book American Heroes.... It was written by Oliver North... Oliver North is a combat-decorated Marine, the recipient of the Silver Star, the Bronze Star for valor, and two purple Hearts for wounds in action.... He host War Stories documentary series on the Fox News Channel... At the start of the war with Iraq he went in with the Marines as a news reporter for Fox news.. In the book he gives us the history on why we are fighting in Iraq and then he tells us what he went threw and saw in Iraq. He also tells the stories of some of the brave men that are serving in Iraq..

I haven't finished the book yet, but so far it's the best book on what went on when we first invaded Iraq that I've read so far.. He also does a good job on reminding us why we need to be over there.. I wish that everybody would read it because the poem above seems to ring true way to often.. We need to constantly be reminded why we are fighting Radical Islam.. It drives me crazy that's there is people who know the names of every new movie, song, or all the actors out there... But when you ask them where Iraq or Afghanistan is, they don't have a clue.. Or they can't tell you who Sadam Hussein is and they think that Osama bin Laden was the president of Iraq.. There the same people who can't name the last five presidents of the United States. Who say I hated learning history when I was in school.. Who act like there all patriotic but don't have clue how America became what it is know.. Okay ya you get my point I'll stop.. So since it's vary unlikely that any of you well read this book I want to show you a picture that was in the book that I thought was really neat....
I always love seeing pics of U.S. solders playing

or giving food and candy to the kids if the country they are fighting in... Or when they are helping the kids that are hurt.. It always makes me want to be over there doing it with them :)

Here's some Quotes that are found in the book..

''We love death-
the Americans love life-that
is the difference between us."
Osama bin Laden

"All who hate me love death." Proverbs 8:36b

For a radical Jihadist, this fight is all about dying
the right way while killing an infidel. For us, it's
all about living the right way because all the dying
necessary was done for us two thousand years
ago on a hill called Calvary..

"Real horoes are selfless. Those who serve America in harm's way in the war against
radical Islam have that quality in abundance. So do their families and loved ones at home. Yet, they rarely get the coverage or credit they deserve.

"Despite the way they are too often presented, the men and women in uniform today
are overwhelmingly good. I never ceased to be amazed at the self-discipline of these brave young Americans. They can endure the adrenaline-pumping violence of an enemy engagement
and then, just minutes later, help children get safely to school. No nation-ours included-has
ever had a military force better than the one we have today."
Oliver North

Hockey Practice

This is how I train for Hockey

It hasn't clicked yet with Jane that she supposed to get the ball!!! That's a big NO NO!!

Hockey Time

Crosby and the Penguins Played there first game of the season today and it was a thriller... Hmm ya I know that sounded nerdy.. :) Tyler Kennedy spoiled Daniel Alfredsson's homecoming. Kennedy scored his second goal with 25 seconds left in overtime to lift the Pittsburgh Penguins past the Ottawa Senators, 4-3 in the first NHL regular-season opener in Sweden on Saturday night. Crosby got an assist and Malkin also got a goal on a nice move....
